Geo-logger or geo-tagger (small gadgets of about 40 gr) allow to record the way you cover, they store time and geodata so that a photo, which has a timeprint (as normally all digital photos have), can be assigned to a certain place (of course camera and geo-tagger should have been at the same place when the photo is taken
Here the gadget was set to record the position every 10 meters.
In the near future the cameras will have an integrated gps (global positioning system) so that photo logging will be a matter of course.
